Tiny Worms- Experiments Fast
Show Notes

David Weinkove, CEO of Magnitude Biosciences joins us to talk to us about their work with C. elegans- tiny worms used to test compounds for health. We learn about the difference between a lifespan and a healthspan and how using these tiny worms to study the effects of compounds on aging is helpful.  David shares Magnitude's work as a CRO and how they translate their work into an industrial setting. Finally, find out a cool fact you might not have known about worms. Stay through to the very end for a thought exercise for our audience. That's right- he gave us homework!

Magnitude Biosciences is an Innovation AveNEW company at SLAS2022 who help industry and academia progress their research projects via a team of expert scientists, C. elegans services and unique automated imaging technology.
